Yes, it is true. After being at my job for a little less than 5 months, I got a promotion!
And a pay raise!
But I have to keep in hush hush, because the other guys will get a bit upset. See, they didn't get promoted until their 7th or 8th month. Slackers.
I got the news yesterday, and was told that it could take at least a month for the promotion to take effect. Well, today is Friday, and I was told today that my promotion kicks in Monday!
I think my bosses really like me. The ladies in HR sure do.
Isn't it amazing how things can change in as little as 5 months?
