when the DC makes a FUBAR, we're always the ones directly affected by said FUBAR?
We had a furniture grouping that wasn't selling so well, so this summer all the pieces in that grouping were put on clearance and sold out. We hadn't had anything out of that grouping for months.
So guess what comes in on a truck a couple weeks ago? That entire furniture grouping we got rid of months ago! 5 or 6 pieces of each of the 5 items in that grouping. All because the fucktrumpets at the DC still can't get it through their heads that we do not carry that furniture anymore.
And of course throwing it all back on the truck and sending it back isn't an option. Instead we have to build displays of every item and sell the furniture at clearance price. And it isn't selling too fast. It's taking up space in the backroom that could be used for other things that people actually want to buy.
