When I worked at Goodwill, we got GC to one of the supermarkets. Not bad, I actually shopped there, and I scored one or two more off of coworkers.

At the place I work at now, nada. As Retail Associate put it:

"Your bonus is, you don't have to be here Christmas day."

Not a bonus, but I am trying to get my manager and co-assistant manager to get everyone a $10 card to the store. I'd do it myself, but I can't really afford $130 on my own.

I asked when and where we're going to buy the gift cards, and was told that A was thinking that maybe Best Buy or WalMart might be better. I disagree. I don't want a BB GC and I have to deal with hungry and broke coworkers on 2nd shift, so I think our GC would be a better idea. ::sigh::

"But I've only been here 5 months" was my reply....

haha, i can beat that.

i was hired on 2 days before the christmas party (where they usually give the bonus check) and i got a bonus check for over $100.

wasn't expecting it... but it was really cool.
