Yeah this happens to me all the time. I got into the habit of swapping them and ended up with a nice little collection. Now that collection helps buy me a nice yummy little treat when I am travelling. It is also cool to see all the different types of coins out there.

We found a random Moroccan dirham on the floor at the library once. The only reason we know that it's Moroccan is because I had nothing else to do and looked it using guess and check- Wikipedia has pictures of pretty much everyone's money, so I just looked at each Arabic-speaking country until I hit Morocco.
