I swear does anyone else get customers like this?

I go in early to work everyday before the store opens because there's some things that need to be ready for the store to open. So while I'm in there I have these two customers everyday that show up before the store opens. One around 8:15am the other around 8:30am. They walk up to the doors try to open it and then leave, every single day! As if one day the doors will be magically open for them.

Anyone else get people like this?

Used to get them all the time at the gas station.

My manager used to pamper these asshole SCs for some reason. If she was in the middle of trying to open the store, and they came ripping and tearing up, she'd let them in and serve them anyway.

Not me. To me, hours were hours, and no one is special. I'd get there at 5:30 on a Saturday morning and I'd be making coffee, counting the till, unlocking lottery tickets, finishing cigarette stocking that the night person had refused to do, and without fail, they'd come ripping and tearing into the parking lot and bang on the door or the windows.

They'd pout at me or just get so pissed off when I wouldn't open the door that they'd speed away and bitch about me to my manager later. It honestly freaked me out when people would just reef on the door or keep banging on the windows to be let in.

It was always worse on Sundays because we opened an hour later. People were impossible. Some people got there early and WAITED for me to open! There was a Holiday station right DOWN THE STREET that's 24/7!

The thing that gets me really is that I can understand a random goerby that pulls in thinking we're open, because hell they either don't know what time we open, or they've done it a handful of times. But these do it everyday. you'd think they'd be able to must up a few brain cells that could remember what time we open.

But were they the same customers every day?
As TheseFightingWords said, random people trying the doors is a given, but the same people coming at the same time every day, even though the place has never been open at that time previously?

They say insanity is repeating the same behaviour and expecting different results.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

Oh, most definetly, Ree. Same customers, different day.

They were used to being let in no matter what. So of course they were enraged when an employee who didn't feel like risking her safety by unlocking the doors and opening the till before opening time wouldn't bend over backwards for them.

We get the same people, who, like clockwork will come up to the bank lobby door and yank on it 10 - 15 minutes before it even opens. Same people every time too! You would think they'd get the hint when they see that the lights are off and there is nobody in the lobby. We'll even get people who will wait in the parking lot for over half an hour waiting for the lobby to open. The drive up opens an hour before the lobby and we can handle most common transactions there. Heck, if you're nice (and there's no line) we'll even do more complicated stuff there.
