So not only do I get dumped, and then end up getting a less than satisfactory review at work, and then get hounded and patronized by everyone about calling in sick Monday night (as if I've never called in before! As if it's illegal for trainers to call in).....
On top of all this bullchips.......then one of my friends gets hurt.
We were all walking into the room to get started for the night. There are two different doors; I went in the opposite door than her so I didn't witness this.
I got to my nightly duties and I noticed all of a sudden everyone was gathering around me and my trainee. Everyone that belonged on the other side of the room.
I asked what was going on. They said Tina fainted and was having a seizure.
I asked "Did someone call 911 and the first responders?!" and I was told yes.
Thankfully, people were respectful enough to stay away from her and the first responders (who are always right there when you call them) and left plenty of room for the paramedics when they arrived.
I am glad I didn't see this. From what I was told, she walked in the door and just hit the floor and started vomitting and shaking and gurgling.
Thankfully, a few hours later, she was back from the hospital. My boss was escorting her to her locker and was going to wait with her until her ride came to get her.
