Getting nervous...

Well, I had my interview for the AM position on the 3rd... and I am getting nervous because I haven't heard back from anyone yet. It's been 5 days. I tried calling and I learned that the GM is sick with the flu. She won't be back until Monday.

Should I wait a little longer, or should I take this job that I just got offered at a Pizza Shop?

Next thing: the guy at the pizza shop said he would definitely hire me (gave him my resume, no app yet), so do I wait a couple more days and then go for it, or swallow my pride now and just turn the application in now?

What would you do in my situation?

(by the way, my last day of work at the Frame Shop is on the 15th)

Pizza place is a sure thing. Job you want is on hold. Can you put off deciding about the pizza job until Monday or Tuesday and it still be the sure thing? If that is possible, do that and hope the AM position is offered to you in that time frame. If not, take the pizza job. Better to have a sure thing than wait for a maybe and miss out on both.
