Kudos to that judge! I bet your brother never did that again.

Well... not that particular one. But if it's any indication, the State of Pennsylvania has custody of him for the next twenty three years or so, depending on behavior. While my parents were good parents, he was the type of kid who pushed and pushed the limits... and the local judges usually slapped his wrist lightly. "Oh, he has good parents; he'll learn." Uh, no. You should have clued in by the fact that he's back here yet again and actually punished him... my parents could only punish him so far before it became abuse, and they weren't going to cross that line.
