My latest search has been for the Key to Time series. I think I'll have to wait until after my SIL's wedding before I can get that. It has one of my more enjoyable mini story arcs - The Pirate Planet written by Douglas Adams.


ETA: If at all possible I would like to please borrow the R/C Dalek as our company's payroll department royally screwed up our payday. We were supposed to be paid yesterday. Instead, our direct deposits are going in today. Can anyone see the flaw in this plan? I am effectively poor until Monday (or Saturday, if my bank has mercy on me). It has also royally screwed up the plans SO and I had for the weekend.

I Wish I could afford one of those. (only two paychecks after a long employment gap). Bosses bring their puppy to the office, and it pees all over the place. it needs some extermination.

I'm a big fan of the new series. haven't seen much of the old, but that will be fixed in the future. I think the season 4 there episode ending arc was great... if a bit confusing. Best. Clifhangers. Ever... but you always run the risk of pissing people off if they come to nothing. either way, I won't give spoilers, but I have to say that I can't wait till 2010 when the new eps come out... damn you, BBC!

Seriously, loved the ep (though perhaps not quite as good as past finales, but still quite good). Bawled my eyes out at the end.

Loved the ending...but got my RC Dalek and...poo It barely gets over the lip of the doors in here, and one of the wheels keeps getting stuck. Still, it was fun to hide it in my office, and have it roll out and threaten anyone who came in to talk to me

Yeah, they're best on very flat surfaces...which you've got to admit, is true to the original Dalek design. Still, how fun is it to press a button and hear EX-TER-MI-NATE!

Same here. I've been consoling myself with watching the series and what episodes of Confidential are on Surf The Channel. SO lent out our first two dvd sets. We did just get Torchwood so I could watch that, but it's not the same.
