This one will amuse retail workhorse greatly. There is this guy at work. I shall call him K. He is constantly slating me for whatever reason. I think it may well be because I don’t just stand there and take the crap he dishes out.
He was reading an old article about the macbook air (this was a while ago, before the air came out)
K: “Small and thin is the future” says Steve Jobs, C.E.O. of Apple Computers. So there’s hope for Flea’s brain yet then
I should point out at this point that K is not a small person. He is, by his own admission, Fat. He has been known to say “I’m not big boned, I’m Fat”. I am not. I’m 6ft tall and 15 stone. That weight is basically pure muscle (Workhorse, who has seen me, will be able to corroborate that) so I’m pretty thin, even though I am not exactly small

K: Thats what it says here
Me: so... *runs his hand over his stomach to emphasise how it’s not bulging out at all* ...I’m the future, that means you’re obsolete
Everyone around me laughed their arses off, even K, but he didn’t speak to me for the rest of my shift....Best 2 hours of my LIFE. The story very quickly left tech and spread around the store
I do not mean any offense to people who are fat. 99.9% of fat people are just ordinary folk. It’s that 0.1% that are just ordinary arseholes. K fits into that percentage.
