Bad thing: Everybody in your building knowing you have your own printer.

My last year at college, my room basically turned into a Kinko's, because people knew I had a printer and didn't feel like hoofing it over to the computer labs.

Put a small sign up: first page 25¢, each additional page 15¢. Then make sure they pay in advance.

Re full toners: good for the customer, bad for my add-on sale attempts

I've only heard one complaint from one customer, who said it looks like we're all listening to music on the job. Heaven forbid I say something snappy or smartass to her cuz she's been coming to the store at least twice a week since the Stone Age.... can't piss off our regular customers!!

My issues so far:
-Some people's headsets don't work properly because whenever they speak all I hear is their voice masked by static and this weird "vvvvooooooooooooppp" sound like a vinyl record being stopped.

-My earpiece doesn't fit properly. My ears are rather small so I have the earpiece hooked on but if I tilt my head too far in any direction it will fall off. And I don't really feel like shelling out any $ for my own earpiece.
