  • Yes, I do make mistakes

BossMan called to me up to his desk last week to talk to me about messing up three accounts.

So, we are going through the accounts and I had only messed up one. I forgot to add notes on it. I told him it was my mistake and I will try not to let it happen again.

He looked at me with a face and said I took that well. I told him I'm human and I do make mistakes.

It turned out that he had to get on someone who messed up a large number of accounts. They had a screaming shit fit about it and refused to admit they messed up at all. They never mess up, so it just had to be someone else's fault.

He didn't tell me who it was, but going by the time frame and the account, it had to be Whiner. I wasn't surprised.

I can not believe that BossMan was shocked that there are people who will admit their mistake in a calm manner and won't try to deflect blame to someone else.

So...why was Whiner given access to accounts/programs she had no business being in? Oh wait, because she whined about it. Forgot, my bad. Hopefully her throwing a tantrum will help your Boss grow a backbone to more of her whining. We can hope, right?

when you make a mistake and the boss calls you into the office and starts asking about it, THEY KNOW ABOUT IT.

      just a tip

seriously, they know you messed up, so admitting your mistake and telling them you will improve is the best way to go, it shows maturity and stuff

bainsidhe, if he actually listened to her talk about her life, he would have realized she shouldn't be allowed access to anything more complicated than a telephone.

nomorecarts, she never accepts responsibility for her own actions. If she messes up it's always someone else's fault. The world is against her.

If I didn't hear for myself how old she was, I would swear she was an immature teenager. She is actually 27 years old and is always bragging about how wasted she gets every single night. She then wonders why she can't find a good man. After all, she has a huge chest and that is all men are interested in, right?

          In a stripper sure. A girlfriend/wife? Nah.

Probably start dating her and then go "whoa all kinds of crazy, get away"

I asked the Hubster about this. He says that 'the girls' CAN be too big, so that's not enough for him to strike up a conversation in the first place. And if she can't cook as well as carry on an intelligent conversation, the relationship isn't going to go anywhere, assuming it ever gets started. Then again, we've been married 13+ years, so he knows how to answer that sort of question without getting himself killed.

              I'm told it's a good start.

By people who claim to be experts.

              They're single as well.
