When I went into work this morning to get the keys so I can open up tomorrow morning, one of my co-workers called me over. As I was walking I was reading the front page of our local paper, and saw an article about five local businesses who got busted for selling alcohol to a minor. Of course one of them happens to be another store owned by our company. I can't wait until tomorrow when I can go ask my manager (who also manages that store) who in the hell was dumb enough to sell alcohol and not be checking IDs two weeks before Christmas?

I can also imagine what drama will come down from the front office because of it. I suppose this will mean meetings or videos or some such stupid drama.

And even thought its in our handbook that selliing alcohol to a minor is an immediate dismissal, this person is still employed. God how I hate the main office.
