I don't know, maybe you just had to be there, but...
A few weeks ago, I had a shift in the hot foods department.
I was getting (and giving) some good natured teasing.
At one point, I said, "I'm going home!!!!!" and I walk a few steps away. After a few seconds, I could be heard adding, "...at nine o'clock..." (When my shift ended.) Everyone just started laughing.
We still mention it.
