    Annoy me to no end!

I am a truck driver. I worked for a company that competes with Gordon Food Service that is a homonym to the word Sisco (ie. Sisco Kid) through a driver service until last night.

I used to tow 2 trailers at a time from their satellite yard in Tilbury, ONT to their warehouse in Peterborough, ONT where I emptied the skids out and grabbed two new ones to bring back so their delivery drivers could deliver them.

I got out of the yard late (90 min late to be specific) because one of their drivers got back late. While I was waiting I was told that last night would be my last night by the driver that was already back.

So, between getting out late, finding out that I was out of a job, and the notice I was promised was getting before such a move ignored -- you can guess that I was in a pretty bad mood.

I decided that I would drop my trailers and neglect to empty them out so I could save time and get back into time so the delivery drivers would get their trailers in good time so they wouldn't have to deal with pissed off customers all day long. I like them, even if their bosses are full of it and retarded. I take my job seriously and I don't do this normally.

I did this and when I was about to let out the clutch to leave, the night supervisor for the warehouse came out and we had this conversation:

    Me: Duh!
    FT: F'n Tool Supervisor

FT: Did you leave your trailer in a door un-emptied?
Me: Yes I did. I made a judgement call. I decided that getting back in time so the customers would get their stuff on time was more important.
FT: But you can't just leave your trailer in a door and not tell anyone.
Me: But I told Jeff (returns clerk) about it.
FT: Well, you need to come in and empty it.

I went inside to empty it and it was already empty!

So ... he called me in to empty out an empty trailer that nobody knew about, but apparently they knew enough about to empty.

While I was opening the door to see the trailer was empty a dock hand asked me what I was doing.

    DH: Dock Hand.

    DH: What are you doing?
Me: Emptying out .... what ??? It's empty?!?
    DH: Yeah, I emptied it.
Me: Who told you to do that?
    DH: Jeff.
Me: Did FT know you emptied it?
DH: Yes, he was standing there when Jeff told me to empty it and asked me who left it here.

He KNEW it was empty! He lied about it!

    What an asshat!
