Today, I was in the middle of a transaction on one of the service desk registers when it went down. I rebooted it several times and each time it shut itself down. Since my service desk coworker was using the other register, she told the customer that he could have this done another time after I mentioned that the register I was on wasn't working. The customer seemed OK with this and left without a problem.
About an hour or so before my shift ended, I once again rebooted the register. This time it stayed on.
