So, my boss, our Marketing director, is pretty awesome, as I have previously indicated. She just got cooler.

See, one of her main tasks is bringing in people that want to market to our members, and getting money from them in exchange for promoting their services or product. Our best promotions so far have been for films: we simply encourage our members to go see a particular film and put a small ad or two in our emails, and voila, cash for us.

So I was informed that she will be pursuing more of these opportunities, and I will be writing the reviews/ads. For instance, today I got to spend 2 hours watching an indie film starring Michael Caine, so I could write the ad.

I hope she gets a lot of new film ads...

Cool! Writing is right up your alley, so you not only get to do that, you can watch movies for research purposes too on top of it.

Now if I can only say that I'm gaming for that purpose too...

(Actually, no I don't. As much as I like video games, I wouldn't want to be a game tester. Too much frustration in bug hunting.)
