Some days I wonder why it's even worth going into work anymore.
Today, the admin that I work with didn't show because she's having some personal issues. It went as far as me being told by my manager that she wasn't returning. She even sent an e-mail stating as such to a few other people who work with her.
Not less than an hour later, I'm getting crap from her and the IT person because they need to get onto her computer to get some items. All because I mentioned to the IT person that the admin wasn't returning..and let's not forget that the manager has told a few other people, so it's not really a secret now.
Um..first of all, I got it word of mouth from the manager no less. I asked the IT person what to do, if we needed to follow any special proceedures. Then the manager gets a bug up her ass because she has to fill out paperwork, and that she'd never told me that to begin with. Somehow it was my fault, because actually not coming back really means that the person may or may not be returning. Gee..I didn't realize that it actually had a different meaning that what I was used to hearing.
