Surprise in Shoe

Yesterday, when I arrived at work, my feet were soaked. My service desk coworker suggested calling my house and having someone bring me a pair of dry socks and shoes. My dad ended up bringing what I needed. Inside one of the shoes was one of my cat's toys which happened to be a small ball.

Believe me, there's other kinds of "surprises" that your cat could have left in your shoe.

It looks like it's threatening to rain over here too, and I kind of hope it does.

I went to put my shoes on for work a couple of weeks ago, and my granddaughter had left a gumdrop in one of them.

Kinda similar, but not really...

A few years ago, my husband got me new boots for Christmas. I went to put them on, and found a small "Mon Cheri" chocolate bar in the toe.
I laughed and said, "Aww...you nut. How cute. Thanks."
He just looked at me, puzzled, and said, "I didn't put that there."

It turns out, when he was putting his stuff on the counter, the boots must have hit the candy rack at the cash, and the chocolate bar fell into the toe.
He had stolen the chocolate bar without even realizing it.
