Someone less diplomatic than I ran into the aisle and screamed "You suck!" at them
Oh, I know plenty of people who'd do that, while I scamper off after them, laughing.

Whoever wrote Santa Baby should be tortured. I don't care who's singing it, it always seems dirty in the worst possible way. Another one I can't tolerate (loathe and abhor are good words to describe how it makes me feel), and please don't throw things at me, but Paul McCartney's "Wonderful Christmastime." I'm sorry but I just can't stand it when a song consists mostly of the same phrase being repeated over and over. They probably ran that one four times a day when I was with the evil smiley face place. Thankfully, there is no PA system at call centers, so I'm freed from the monotony of it all.

Blas, make sure no one discovers the station "Holly" on XM or you're in trouble. My mom has had Christmas music playing since late November and she has actually called me a Scrooge for suggesting to listen to something else.

I have XM radio and I will admit to listening to Holly alot as of late, or Traditions. I don't hate Christmas music, just certain aspects of it. I do grow lonesome for my soundtracks though, and end up putting a CD in sometimes. Oh, and ditto to whoever said something about putting Trans-Siberian on all day. Freaking awesome.

The beauty of working at the tech bench: we have our own computer w/ nice logitech speakers. We also have a laptop with bose companion 5 speakers on the network, right by the bench >: ).

So I'll be blasting David Clarke, Infected Mushroom, Sisters of Mercy, ASP, Rammstein, Combichrist, Richthofen -- you name it, I love it, I play it. Screw christmas.

I mean, besides the Trans-Siberian Orchestra version of The Carol of the Bells : >

Pezzle, that song rocks my socklets so much.

I love my desk. Headphones on, I can play whatever I want. The only drawback is people tapping on my shoulder to get my attention. Nearly took out an eye the first couple of times.

You too, huh? Most people learn not to do that after seeing me spring straight up from my chair and almost hit the ceiling.

So I'm not the only one who thinks that song is wrong.

I generally dislike all Christmas music (except Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Tom Lehrer's "A Christmas Carol", and a few other oddball ones).

I just wish TSO would get off their Christmas kick and do something else like Beethoven's Last Night. "A Last Illusion" and "Mozart" kept me awake on many a long trip coming home from my furthest out stop (1 hr, 50 minutes, almost all on back roads... and the place doesn't open until 7PM most days, so I may not leave there until 8...)

I believe Eartha Kitt sang the first version of Santa Baby.

The christmas song that I despise the MOST has to be "Do They Know It's Christmas" from Band Aid. The sheer stupidity of lamenting that there won't be snow in Africa this christmas kills me. Hello?! Snow is quite possibly the last thing a bunch of people in a refugee camp needs, thanks. However, the worst line has to be, hands down, " Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you ". Gee, how touching.

Another overplayed one is Christmas Shoes, the name of the artist escapes me at the moment. Yes, it was kind of sweet when it was first released, but it loses it's touch when played twice an hour. That along with Grown Up Christmas List. Sap is for trees, people! Guess I just like the traditional stuff and hymns. Everything else just irritates me.

My favorite x-mas music is Manheim Steamroller!! I could listen to them for months on end and not get sick of it!
The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

Yeah. Too bad it's a lot of "almost got hit," or people would learn faster.

After many attempts, they finally found Holly on the system at work. Oddly enough, I don't think they're playing Adam Sandler on it this year.
