Broken into last night

    Broken into last night

    So...

    I waltz into the shop today & notice the laptop security lock on display only connects to a...Chunk of former laptop!!

    All our display laptops are gone!!! (2 new & 2 old consignment POS)

    Apparently, someone prybarred the front door & made off with 4 of our laptops...Kind of a bad way to start the day...

    Later on that day....

    Heard some news about another comp shop being broken into...They're missing 20 laptops (about $30k worth of gear).

    Never guess who got robbed...Yup...My old weasley boss than canned my manager & myself at 85 days

    Karma IS DEFINITELY....a bitch

    Needless to say my manager was feeling quite a lot better after hearing how bad a competitor got hit

    They probably hit your store first and realizing it was too hard to take out the laptops from all the security devices left. That's when they went to your old $Boss and saw he was easy pickings.


    I bet he didn't have insurance on them either.

      Naw, they hit him a day or two before us. So far I hear 4 shops have been tagged.
