I wish I could afford to stock up for long island iced teas. i cant get enough of those. I dont even understand why its classified as a "girly" drink. Its 99% liquor with half a shot of coke

I was out drinking Vodka all night...usually a good thing..but not when its a cheap liter of Purple Wave...... ugh. I hope I dont feel this tomorrow.

On the upside, I do have my tiny 6 bottle wine fridge filled and a bottle of Lime Rum waiting for me. Choices, choices.

Most girly drinks are high-alcohol. They're just also high-sugar, so you don't taste the alcohol. Stupid, in my mind.

My favourite drink is either a really nice Eau de Vit, or a bourbon Manhattan. Yum. Slivovica is a Bosnian Plum Brandy. This bottle is still left from my sister's wedding - I've been very sparing with it.

But dammit, I need bourbon. I don't have any in the house, and the nearest place I can get the decent stuff (Knob Creek or better) is a pain in the butt to get to.

This does not explain a Long Island Iced Tea being classified as a chick drink

For the uninitiated:

Long Island Iced Tea is
1 part vodka
1 part 1800® Tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®

Gin and tonic, lime (squeeze it in and drop in the guts). Simple, but beautiful-- therefore, make it well and all will be well.
Jeremiah Weed Sweet Tea Vodka. A tea-lover's tea-vodka.
Amaretto-- tastes like death (made from apricot pits or almonds, in other words key ingredient is most likely cyanide. It appeals to the Goth tendencies I have.)

Tanqueray Gin and club soda works well for me. After I get done with getting all the fair stuff back to the store, and put away around midnight (since Lazy Ass is working, and won't do it, and throw a fit if he would have to), I'll be chugging it when I get home.
