One of my absolutely favorite drinks:

The Vodka McGovern which is named for Mike McGovern, friend of Kinky Friedman, and the author of Eat, Drink, and Be Kinky. Awesome drink!

I just tried Wild Turkey American Honey Liqueur. I am not one for drinking whisky by the shot but this went down smooth.

Yes Kiakat, when we get to Dragon Con, track me down. Your first drink will be on me. Try to keep it under $50 though .

I think we just did 300$ an hour for the last three hours. I had to stay an hour late. It was only an hour because my ride had already been outside waiting for that long. We had cars wrapped AROUND the building still when I left. Godspeed, coworkers, you need it.

            Give me drinks now.

I wish I could afford to stock up for long island iced teas. i cant get enough of those. I dont even understand why its classified as a "girly" drink. Its 99% liquor with half a shot of coke
Because 'Working Girls' always ordered Long Island Ice Tea, Of course their version was reverse proportions. and usually used ice tea instead of coke so the color was closer to the alcoholic version.

I'm up for a good margarita anytime.... or just about anything with tequila in it. And yes, I do like my girly drinks where you can't taste the alcohol that much, but I'm also a broke college kid and can't afford the nice stuff. (And honestly, even if I could, I wouldn't know where to start)

This does not explain a Long Island Iced Tea being classified as a chick drink
The other reason for that is that it's really smooth and you can't taste the booze as much as you can in "manly" drinks, like whiskey on the rocks.

The Cure (b/c sobriety is the disease)

16oz glass - fill with ice
                    (don't know the exact oz's)
                    equal parts:
                    Goldschlager
                    Jagermiester
                    (bailey's)Irish Cream
                    (Frangelico) Hazelnut liquor

                    a splash of Cream
                    and a splash of Cola

give a quick "back-and-forth" from one glass to another and back to the original to blend,

                    tastes like cinnamon-milk (Orchata?)

my favorite bartender experimented and came up with this, my brother named it.

                          my favorite mixed shots are:

Swedish fish and Hot apple Pie.

I'm also a sucker for "girly" drinks where I can't taste the booze.

Oooooh forgot about the honey whiskey-- mmmmm does a girl right.
I usually don't drink the stuff... mostly 'cuz I'm trying to finish the booze I do have... keeping the booze content of my apartment at an acceptable level for weight/addiction concerns (I'm not overweight or addicted... yet.... but both are in my family history, and thus I really really need to watch it ). But once the vodka is gone ... yay!
Also, a properly done rum and coke or whiskey and coke is balanced at the perfect point of can-barely-taste-the-alcohol-but-can-still-taste-the-booze-flavur and the fizz of the soda and the sweet of the soda... yeah, complicated, but the bar across the street from me has a man-bartender I want to make love to, he makes them so perfectly. <3
