So, my third and last shift at 7-11. 10pm- 5am.
Mostly uneventful- couple of people got irritated (but not at me personally) because they couldn't buy alcohol after midnight. Nothing major.
Then this guy who was obviously homeless came in and got a cup of coffee and he decided to stay awhile and chat.
The story goes that he was a lounge singer who turned down the chance to be the lead singer for Cheap Trick. *insert him singing I Want You To Want Me*
Left me with the mixed feelings of
and
I got to hear all about his alcohol problem and how he spent too many years hanging out in bars. *whoopie*
Then after a few more minutes of rambling he belted out Moon River by Perry Como and then ran out the door.
He came back later and sang something by Simon & Garfunkle for the Store Manager who promptly threw him out.
