A bit of background about my second job, there are 2 separate stores: Game Nutz and Wii got it, that used to be one called J&J's we still use each others spaces. Inside is Game Nutz (everything is stored behind steel shutters) and outside is Wii got it (mostly everything is stored inTerry's van and the tables for setup are inside) end background. The day started out like any other Saturday for anti-theft reasons Terry's van is locked until all the tables are set up, because the kid that used to work for him before me left the back open during setup and shit got stolen. Today however I was halfway through getting the tables set up when this group of kids comes up and starts to ask me about a game. I tell them all I know about it when one of the kids gets on his phone and walks away, I tell them that if they can wait 10 minutes I'd be more than happy to sell them the game. The phone kid comes back and wants to know if the store inside is open as he wants to buy a controller for a sega Genisis, I tell him I'm sorry but it isn't open until 10:00 I'm just getting the tables out. He doesn't like this he makes a big deal that he has to get one NOW because he has to go to work at 10:00. I tell him I'm sorry, get the last table and close the open shutter. Cut to 10:00. The inside boss Kevin comes by and opens his store 5 minutes later he comes out and asks Terry to come in with him, not even a minute later Terry comes out and asks me if I sold anyone the PS3 that was inside the store. I told him no I didn't and asked him why, he told me Kevin thinks it was stolen since he called Ty (Kevin's employee) and he says he didn't sell it. He asks me if anyone was asking if the store was open, I told him about phone kid and his friends and gave descriptions. After talking with Kevin some more, Terry came out and said it wasn't my fault, Kevin has seen those kids in the store every weekend for the last couple of months asking if they can get some kind of a deal on it. Kevin left his girlfriend in charge of the store and went around asking other vendors about the kids to see if he could get any more info. When he came back I tried to say I was sorry, but he wouldn't even look at me. Terry gave him a 360 and some games to try to make up for the loss, but I still feel sick and upset over it. I also found out they only took the console they left the controllers and cables, I hope those little shits get caught.

Aww that sucks! It's not your fault though, sounds like they were sneaky. Hope you guys find the PS3 and get those kids in trouble for what they did.

Terry called me after talking to Kevin this morning and that's what they thought too. I still felt like shit over it so I told him that I was coming down to bring him my PS3, I mean the last thing I played was FF XIII so I don't really care that I gave it up. He told me not to but I told him that I was gonna do it anyway because I wanted to.

Nope. Kevin checked the shelf twice when he opened, they only took the console. No word on the the kids either.
