  • School photographers: at the school and set up before the teachers are.

Seriously, it's weird. It does give us awesome choice in parking spots, so I can't argue that.

My new job is good, so so very strange compared to my old one. Like REALLY different. No one has yelled at me or called me stupid, everyone has been very nice to me, in an hour I work with Big Boss who only called me to tell me when to meet, not to yell. I have to say I freaked out when he called the other day, I was thinking I must have done something VERY wrong. I'm just so used to the old job when that's only when Big Boss there cared.

I'm still nervous every day, lesigh. I wish I wasn't waking up sick in the morning, isn't fun at all. I can't wait till I'm used to everything and I stop getting nervous.

Not sure what's going to happen at the end of the three months, that's when the job ends, with the way jobs have been going I don't know if they will want to keep me around. I hope so, my job searching has not gone well at all and I quit the last job, I really can't go back there.

Hopefully they will want to keep you on, I had an exBF who worked for Olan Mills, and it was a short term job that turned permanent [though they moved him to another city, but he was cool with that] because he had a serious talent at getting very young kids to look cute instead of sitting there screaming in terror =)
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.

I hope so, it would be nice. I've been working well with everyone so maybe the boss will figure out something for me. He knows I can use photoshop and take pictures. I'm not sure if it's a plus or not that it is all self taught and that I'm still working on different skills in photoshop.

So you switched from working with animals to working with kids... I think the site rules require me to keep my lips zipped at this point .

I hope you don't have to do the whole "fifteen minutes of sounding like an idiot to keep the subject looking alert and lively" shtick. I felt really sorry for the guy who did that to me, I'm sure he was brighter than he sounded.

Naw, handing out the cards that have their info and taking the money on school picture day. I'm sooo happy I don't have to handle change it would have been such a pain. I've been given another job there too this weekend, I quite honestly don't know what I will be doing. I'm learning on the fly for that, one of the photographers requested me. Yay.
