    Meeting with the Manager

    Got an email from my manager, asking me to meet with her after our department meeting tomorrow morning.

    But didn't tell me what about. I replied back asking if I was in trouble, and she responded with "Not at all."

    I hate that... now I'm going to spend the rest of the day wondering what I did wrong or what's going on, because I have anxiety issues anyway. Did she say that I wasn't in trouble just because she wants to confront me tomorrow? What does she want to talk to me about? Can't she just call me or email me?

    I'm going to go twitch now for a while.

      I'm thinking it might be about my schedule... I'm swapping 4 upcoming Sundays with a coworker... but in order for me to get Sundays off, I have to get someone to cover, and it works better for the overall schedule if I swap days (so there's even coverage) instead of me taking vacation time. But maybe she's going to talk to me about swapping my shift completely with the coworker (which I hope doesn't happen... I prefer to work at home) or maybe just temporarily while coworker has newborn. Or something. *shrug* Don't know.

      I suppose I shouldn't worry too much. I'll find out tomorrow. I just hate worrying. I wish she would just tell me what's going on instead of making me all paranoid for the next 18 hours.

            Sorry... posted in the Bragging Base.

            I got a raise!

            We've been on a pay freeze for the past few years and they're not giving raises this year either, but my Manager and the CEO decided that I deserved to get one, and that it was past time.

            So, I got a 5.769% raise effective Sept 30.

            And I'm the only person in my department to get a raise too!


            EDIT: I want minions! *pout*

              Well, I can't give you minions as I don't have any of my own (YET), but here:

                  She has a minion also now . I love the conga rat thing! Conga Rats *does the conga rat dance*
                  Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

                    That's right! I have the most awesome minion now too, on top of my raise and my awesome conga rats! Today is a good day... now I just have to fall asleep BEFORE my alarm goes off for work...

                      There ARE good ways to help you sleep , but the distance currently won't allow them .

                      Insomnia is not fun .
