Not really a sucky customer, but annoyingly stupid.
A little background: At the moment, I work in a call center for disability insurance claims. A woman is working part time, so to properly calculate what she is entitled from us, I asked her how many hours she had wored this week...
Me: How many hours did you work this week?
Lady: 7:30 to 11:30.
Me: Ok, but how many hours, in total?
Lady: Well, Monday was a holiday, do you count that?
Me: Did you work on Monday?
Lady: No.
Me: Then no, Monday doesn't count. I just need to know the total hours you worked this week.
Lady: 7:30 to 11:30.
Me: *mental sigh* How many days did you work? *Trying to help her out.*
Lady: Four days.
Me: Ok, so 16 hours. Is that right?
Lady: *counts the days* Yes.
Ugh..... I didn't realize it was rocket science.
