my company is open 365 as well, and I work a 730 - 1300 day on christmas. however, I volunteered to work the day since the person who was originally supposed to work it (due to not having her kids that weekend) is out on medical leave. Also, we have suddenly lost another coworker because his father in India is seriously sick.
One more is out on vacation (until Jan 2) so the rest of us are working extra days. It's very confusing, but while we are open 365, not a one of us stays past 3pm. We're only open 0630 to 1500, and everyone knows it. Once 1500 rolls around, we're gone."FUCK NO I DON'T WANT YOUR FREAKY ALIEN MOTHERSHIP ORANGES. " - Cookiesaur

I don't get holidays, snow days, and am lucky if I get two days in a row off. Heck I couldn't even get ONE extra day off when I asked for it. Still want to know why my 'supervisor' can get a total of three weeks off without having earned a day of vacation time yet.Engaged to the amazing Marmalady. She is my Silver Dragon, shining as bright as the sun. I her Black Dragon (though good honestly), dark as night..fierce and strong.

A bit of good news: I at least have two days off New Year's week! Not New Year's Day or Eve, though.

It is possible that he was hired with the knowledge that he'd be off for those three weeks.Quoth Mytical View PostStill want to know why my 'supervisor' can get a total of three weeks off without having earned a day of vacation time yet.
^-.-^Faith is about what you do. It's about aspiring to be better and nobler and kinder than you are. It's about making sacrifices for the good of others. - Dresden
