How long will I have a job????

It's been an interesting couple of weeks at the ole call center. We found out last week that our department, along with another are being outsourced. One of the departments is being sent to Manilla and the other to a third-party call center in the same state. Everybody in my department at my call center are getting to keep their jobs (as of right now) but we'll be moved to a different department, probably reservations (suck), but at the same pay (not so suck). Everyone in my department at our other call center, as well as the reservations agents will be out of a job come June. The company is saying they will try to promote or relocate as many as possible. I'm not too confident they will promote 200 people, but we will see. Well, according to a news release yesterday, we may be going through a merger soon, and the other company will retain control of our company. I got a feeling it's a good time to finish my degree and get the hell outta here.
