There is a family that I have been serving since their little boy was 1. I think he's about 3 now, just adorable. I always am friendly with them because I see them fairly often. I was at a register tonight serving someone when he ran up to me, all excited, exclaiming something. I didn't understand because he was speaking his parents' native language, but whatever it was, he needed me to know. Everyone while his dad pulled him back to the other line. On the way out he was upset because he didn't get to go in my line, threw a half-tantrum. Still, that kid is cute.

Child Rum is the President of the fan club for a waiter in one of the local eateries we frequent.

It's a barbecue place. His name is Billy, he's like 6'5" (or taller), blond haired/blue eyed, and a voice to rival Barry White's in deepness.

She always has to say "hello" and "goodbye" to him at the beginning and end of every visit. And in between, she has to wave at him constantly.

For the record, my daughter is 8. I think she has a crush.

Sounds like it to me My granddaughter is 8, and while spending a month with us this summer (she lives about 500 miles from us, so that's the main time we spend with her) she very confidentially confessed to having crushes on a friend of her parents, Johnny Depp, and a boy at her school. Geez, they grow up quickly.

Wow. ChildRum has impeccable taste. I have no concern for her aesthetics sense when she's older.
