Your story may not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story who you choose to be. So who are you? - Kung Fu Panda 2
It was actually a very short interview surprisingly.
I went in there expecting roleplays, a "What would you do in this situation?" exercise and even a test. What I got was very different...
We had the icebreaker, which went well and then the rest of the interview consisted of filling out the details for our applications and the fun part: ad-libbing to sell stuff. We were divided into groups and given a basket of items. We had to pick items out of the baskets and "sell" the item (or items) to the head of the group, which was one of the store managers (there are about eight or nine stores in my state). I was one of the few who managed to do a complex sale, managing to sell a car air freshener and a relaxation CD together
Most other sales involving two items were candles and holders or similar.
