  • Oh the Joy, subtitled upcoming stories for sure

Sooo I've secured a job working at Best Buy: Geek Squad. If the first day is any indication, there will be no lack of stories for you fine people!

OMG I see these guys in Best Buy all the time. Their uniform is usually a white button-down and some black pants. Not sure if they make em wear those pocket protectors... Some of them hardly look like geeks too...

The job definitely looks like it entails many entertaining stories of SC's, and the, uh, "touched". Ha!

I posted a sighting a while back about a customer bugging a Geek Squad guy, who was on his break.

They dress like they worked for Fairchild Semiconductor back in the 50s - 60s. I don't know a single geek/nerd (and I work in Silicon Valley and was married to a systems analyst) who ever dressed like that.

The whole laid-back, geek/nerd culture led to casual clothing in all kinds of businesses around here. Seeing someone wearing a tie makes me nervous.
