    I got fired last week

    Haven't posted much lately as I've been working my ass off, but yeah - really awful long story short, I was 'terminated' for 'misconduct' effective immediately on Monday. I'm pretty shook up, had been there nearly 9 years. Trying to get my A into G about applying for work but... it's tough, there's not a lot out there for my level of skill/expertise, or even anywhere close. Please can anyone send any positive thoughts/prayers/etc my way, I'm finding this really tough

                          I'm looking at getting an unfair dismissal thing done, it's just hard to get the energy up. I got a new manager in July, and after only 1 run-in with HR in 8 odd years, between July & November he had me in HR time after time for stupid shit, like "complaint emails" he hadn't even READ to see that they weren't even anywhere at all complaining once he/they had enough strikes against me, they pounced, and I was gone within a week. Just a whole bucket-load of shit basically.

                            'Misconduct'? And they wouldn't show you the proof of it? Fuck 'em; you don't need 'em.

                              Delurked to post - Definitely fight it, you don't have to go back if you win, you should get a payout, and then you can give'm the middle finger salute.
