At my job right now we're having an employee incentive competition. Whoever gets the most positive mentions on the online customer survey gets a paid day off. For reasons, silly reasons that I don't really want to get into, I'm not participating. So I haven't been asking anyone to do a survey.
My coworker P however has been asking everyone he can to put his name on the surveys. P is great with the customers and always makes them laugh, and he works a second full time job as well. He's clearly winning and I say he deserves it!
When I came into work today the first thing P says to me is that he had asked a customer to do a survey and asked her to put his name on it for him. And apparently this lady came back into the store, specifically described me and asked about my name because she wanted to include me in the survey as well. According to P, she said "she serves me all the time and is always working really hard".
I'll admit I'm pretty giddy about it, and I haven't the foggiest who it could have been. But now if someone jokingly gets on my case about not having any surveys I guess I can say "I don't see customers specifically asking about you!"
