and was rated "excellent" with the biggest raise I've had so far in my 2 1/2 years with this company. Commentary stated I need to "learn new skills" in my dept. (translation: stuff my boss does) so I can move up in the company. (They know I have had my eye on a new mngmt. position that will be created in 2008.) I'm not sure I want it anymore, but that's another thread altogether. It's just nice to have my hard work recognized, even if I hate my job right now.
