How is that a good thing? Well, I will explain. I work for a prominent children's toy retailer which just opened a new store in Southwest Florida on July 28th 2006. Previously, I worked for one of their Midwest locations but had to leave the company due to family health issues. Well, our new store has been open for all of three days when this lady comes up to me and asks me, "Did you work at the store in Chicago?"
"Yes," I replied. "I did."
"You helped my grandkids! They had so much fun with you!"
Well, the lady comes back later with scrapbook pictures taken of me and the kids. Two different stores, 1 year and almost 2000 miles apart.
Can you believe that?
This is why I give good customer service.
