Powerball Tickets

Yesterday, a customer wanted 2 powerballs for both Saturday and Wednesday. I asked her if she wanted the days on the same tickets or separate tickets and she was surprised that I was able to do that. My coworker mentioned to the customer that I was one of the only desk people who knew how to do that. She ended up deciding having the same numbers for both days and I put the sale through.

I've been selling lottery for over 3 years and still haven't figured out how to do that...

I hate hate HATE when the radio station I am FORCED to listen to at work feels free to mention that Powerball is over $200 M. If I were to play the lottery, I would buy it when it starts out at $10-15 M when (theoretically) no one else is playing then when everyone on Earth thinks they will get the wining ticket.) The regular PB buyers are bad enough without having rookies come in and have no idea of what they are doing (I.E. how many days, how much, how many numbers they have to pick, etc.)

I hate the lottery. Can you tell?
