    New assistant GM!

    Last week I got a promotion! I am now the assistant general manager over all our properties. Yes, it means I work that much closer with the big boss, but since we've had the opportunity to sit down and really talk, things have been better. Not perfect, but better, so I'll take it. And I'm actually Spa Manager's superior...and she's less than thrilled about that, but so long as she just does her job and I don't get any complaints it's all good. Especially as the big boss told her to flight straight or I'll be running the spa. Heh.

    Considering that I've been with the company since Feb 2020 and started as p/t café cook and p/t hotel guest services at one of the properties, well, I'm glad I've persevered. That being said, I do keep my resume up to date in the event that I feel the need to peace out from my current job.
