Before Christmas I stopped by a local store to get my lottery tickets. Next door is a laundromat. As I passed I noticed that an old co-worker of mine from my days at the grocery store was there so I stopped in. Turns out that her dad bought the laundromat and she ran it. They were looking for someone a couple days a week just to sit there and keep the place clean, make change (no change machine) and do other menial tasks that required little real work. They are having trouble keeping people that don't mind working on Friday and Saturday 3pm to 9pm.
I start Friday night. $100.00 a week and free laundry services. No heavy lifting unless I let the dryer lint get too thick in the filters and it's within walking distance of my apartment.
Pray for me.
