I just completed my orientation, so it's official now.
I'm a shift supervisor for the SafeWalk program at my college. A couple nights a week I get to sit at a table and dispatch volunteers to walk people home within a 15 block radius of campus, and other associated duties. Also, I help provide security for events run by the college.
The best part (besides having something else to put on my resumé) is it pays $9.00/hr. Which is more than my job at the theatre does. Um, I mean, the best part is the warm fuzzies from helping people get home safely. Yeah, that's it!
Still keeping the theatre job though, so that I have something to go back to during the summer break.
