i had a customer come into my store both of which will remain unnamed for the time, He has been a steady customer for 2 years since we opened and has gotten progressivly mor demanding and crazy. he stalked one of my co-workers and has asked to borrow money from me and my manager on many occasions.
the last straw was when he cam in and returned product that was over half used without a receit , when told he could only get instore credit he told me he was out of gas and needed the money i told him we were not a bank and gave him the instore credit he promptly tryed to use it to buy something else and return that for cash when told he could only receive a credit he he told me i was directly respnsible for him running out of gas.
i told my manager of the situation and he told me to ban the customer from the store.
the next time he came in I told him he was no longer welcome and to take his business elsewhere he flew into a rage and called me all sorts of names told me he was calling corp. and left. I beat him to the punch and called corp myself.
the next day he comes in and talks to my manager, who (guess what?) backs down and tells him he can come to the store but only when I am not there!
Gosh! I guess i am the one who was wrong by doing what i was asked to do, just anothe exanple of how the customer is always right or your manager is passive agressive.
