After one year and 10 months of being on the same team at work, the team that noone wants to work for because the clients are so demanding (I have ONE SMALL BULB OUT! Fix it TODAY!), because we haven't made any money on it in the 1 year and 10 months that it's been active (we probably will break even, eventually, according to my math. We'll make $300,000 on a 3 year contract. After spending $5,000,000), and because it just generally sucks the life out of you, after all this time, I'm finally getting to move to another team.
Not so much of a promotion, more of a lateral move, but still! I get to: Make money on jobs, Manufacture new signs (you have no idea how much I've been looking forward to this), Do work in more than the 5 states I currently do work in, and lastly, actually put the fact that I'm damn good at this job to some use!
