I got a new job today as a specimen reception lab aide in a pathology lab today. It will mean that I will be working in the science field, although not the one that I am studying in at the moment which is Forensic Science, but it is a foot in the door and a good job to fall back onto when I graduate as the Scene of Crime Officer jobs are very hard to get, as there a few and far inbetween, but are what I really want to do. So here's to hopefully no more retail/hospitality but hello to people's urine specimens (don't honestly at the moment know which one is worse). yay for me.

A kidney stone will never yell at you. A poo sample rarely tosses themselves on the walls. And urine will never ever tell you that you're sub-human. I think you're pretty darn lucky
