Want to know the cool stuff I won at work?

I won a gift card to Wal-Mart, which BossMan didn't know I won, so I won't be able to pick it up till I go back to work on Friday.

I only noticed because I was reading over the whiners seeing if my friend won, but I came across my misspelled name and figured they meant me.

I did get another gift card last week at work, but it was from my friend on my birthday. No, not to Wal-Mart, it was Applebee's.

It was weird, because I thought I didn't win a thing in the Christmas draw, since I won something last year, but I won again this year.

Also, I wasn't expecting to open my birthday card from my friend and find a gift card. I nearly cried, because her and her husband are sweet people.

I use to complain that I never won anything, guess I can't do that anymore!

I got a gift card to my own store today - one of my managers dared me to raise at least $100 for the local food bank and said he'd give me a $10 card if I did. I raised $178.02.

We also have a contest going on for the same donation drive, if you raise at least $1000 you get a $15 gift card, and I broke $1000 a few days ago... so I have a $15 gift card coming to me too.

Okay so $25 will only buy a couple of meals in my store (high end grocery store), but still!
