I got a call on Tuesday about scheduling an interview for a job I applied for on Craigslist. Receptionist position with a marketing company that mainly creates internet ads.
I get an interview for the next day (yesterday). They seemed impressed with my resume, and surprised that I had a list of references WITH me.
I was told I'd get a call last night or this morning. I got nothing last night, and by 10:30, had pretty much resigned myself to not having gotten the job.
Then like 2 minutes ago, I got a call from the Bossman, and I GOT THE JOB!
It's full-time. Monday thru Friday, normal hours, and I won't come home smelling like cheap pizza! I may still work at the Go Kart place on the weekends, since it is pretty slammed on the weekends, and it might take a bit to get someone else on, but I'll discuss that with my (almost former) boss today.
Excuse me, I have to get more shirts for mah NEW JOB!
