Four months ago I moved back to Texas after nearly eight years in Idaho. My wife and 8 year old daughter have remained behind to sell the house - it's not going well, due to the terrible economy and housing market there. I miss them terribly, and it's a black time for us for the foreseeable future.
So what a joy it was to learn yesterday that I have been promoted after such a short time! I will get to continue classroom training (what I was born to do) but I will also mentor and coach other trainers, go to management meetings, shmooze, network, and be involved in managment decisions. More money, and more experience and contacts to help me out for later advancement - a ray of sunshine at last! It couldn't have come at a better time.
