FINALLY - got a JOB!!

Of course, I have to admit - I worked at this place for 6 years total from 99 to 05 - during the last years I went to college & became a medical transcriptionist - was working a good job until 2008, but the last year there was absolutely miserable - not the patients - but the co-irkers & the boss. So after being without a job for a year & just started college to get an associates in IT specializing in networking & being totally broke - I texted my old boss & asked him to work. He texted me Wednesday & said - can you start this Saturday? LOL - so I start tomorrow & today is my birthday - which means for my birthday I got a job. I'm sure I will have stuff to post about when I have time between school & work - the job is at a truck stop/gas station/fast food place. I love my co-workers & just having money will be worth it. (I hope )

I liked it - but very burned out after 6 years, barely any money, but always had great co-workers. This time I know I'm not "staying" - after college I will move on.

i'm just taking a guess here. its around 7 dollars and hour right? so you get about 300 give or take. (i have no job yet and am worried 17 male and shy.) plus i hope i can keep my hair. but anyway it sounds like a good enviorment friends and intelligent CWs. you are lucky! plus the medical transcriptionist sounds good after you get done with college.

Actually it's about $8.25 an hour, but that's only because I was there for so long before & I am already totally trained. You never know with the hair, just depends on the manager & the place you want to work. Good Luck
