    Going for another job.. or two.

    I got a call from my job recruiter... he found another position to submit me for... WITH WELLS FARGO!

    It starts out at two months, but the contract gets extended for 18 months, and then I get to put WELLS FARGO!!!! on my resume!!

    Then I have a position possibly coming up with a packaging company.

    I want to stay in education, but the job just aren't there... Sigh.

            I've dealt w/ Wells Fargo IT in the past... seems to be a pretty decent shop, although I must admit I didn't have a chance to talk to "in the trenches" tech support grunts there.

              Well, come to find out, it's not really a tech job. There's a little overflow calls from the helpdesk, but other than that, it's mainly approving forms for moves, adds or changes for computers.

              Gatekeeper has pretty much talked me out of the job, or gotten me to talk myself out of the job, whatever.

                Yeah, a M/A/C job wouldn't be using your network/hardware skillz. And tbh, I was a contractor @ WF for a few weeks.

                Note Few Weeks.

                Yeah, that should be enough.

                  I've pretty much given up on temp agencies for this reason. Got burned by too many recruiters looking to fill positions and earn their money.

                  Recruiter: "It's a standard 90 temp-to-hire position. Once your 90 days are up, they'll convert you if they want to keep you."
                  Employer 3 weeks later: "Looks like John recovered from his surgery and will be back on Monday. Thanks for all of your help. Make sure you turn in your badge when you leave tonight."

                  Parts of my resume look spotty because of crap like that.
