My raise finally came through... After less than two years of working at the studio I now make $9.50 an hour... Considering I worked the same length of time at the discount store and made 8.50... And was only getting 25 hours a week. I'm now guaranteed at LEAST 35 hours a week, and this recent raise with guarantee that I WILL be Jemma's boss come Nov when she returns, but this doesn't affect my yearly raise in March with my performance review. So I'll be getting ANOTHER raise in 3 months.
And unless I manage to burn the store down between now and then... I think it'll be a pretty good review.
